Reception
There will be a buffet dinner at the dining hall of the
E.C.C. of Delphi on Monday, July 12th, at 8:30pm. All participants and
accompanying persons are welcome.

Registration fee
The fee is 22.000 greek drachmas for participants and
15.000 gr.drs. for accompanying persons. The fee must be paid in cash to
the secretariat of the Symposium upon arrival. The cost of accommodation
is also payable to the Secretariat in cash.

Accommodation and meals
Meals and accommodation will be provided at the guest
house near the conference premises. The center is located at the western
end of the town of Delphi, within an easy 10 minute walk from the center.
Lunch is free for all participants and accompanying persons. Drinks are
available at the dining hall but not free of charge.

Languages
Mini courses and invited talks will be in English. Contributed
talks will be in English or Greek (please see timetable).

Conference Halls
All morning sessions will take place in the main hall
(APOLLO Hall) of the conference venue. Afternoon sessions will take place
in DIONYSOS Hall and the Library.

Use of computers, photocopy machines and telephones
Computers will be available to all during the Symposium.
Photocopy machines and telephone booths will be available but are not free
of charge (photocopies cost 20 dr. each).

Clothing
The town of Delphi is located in the mountains, therefore
nights are certainly cooler. Participants are advised to bring a light
sweater of cardigan. Don't forget swimsuits!

Beaches and swimming pools
There are many nice beaches along the coast of the gulf
of Itea which can be reached by bus or taxi. There are a couple of swimming
pools within a walking distance from the Center.

Museum and archaelogical sites at Delphi
The museum and archaelogical site of Delphi are located
at the eastern side of the town, on the right of the road. Both, museum
and archaelogical site, are open from 7:30 am every day (expect Mondays)
to 7:00 pm. The entrance fee for visitors is 1.200 greek drachmas for the
museum and 2.000 drs. for museum and archaelogical site. For students
visiting from E.C. countries admission is free and for non-E.C. countries,
students are obliged to pay half price.
