Education
The members of STATS Lab lead a valuable teaching activity within NTUA, in the areas of mathematical statistics, linear and generalized linear models, experimental design, survival models, statistical quality control, data analysis with R, Bayesian statistics and MCMC, statistical modeling, sampling theory, biostatistics, probability theory, stochastic processes, programming tools and technologies for data science and computational statistics and stochastic optimization. The courses offered range from introductory ones and go all the way up to advanced, research level, courses. In particular, STATS Lab members provide courses to the 5-year Integrated Master Degree in Applied Mathematics offered by the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, as well as for the MSc in Applied Mathematical Sciences and the MSc in Mathematical Modeling in Modern Technologies and Finance. STATS Lab members are also involved in teaching courses for degrees offered by other schools of the NTUA, for example, the MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning, coordinated by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
